In honor of celebrating Valentine's Day and wishing these two lovely kids a happy anniversary, (as well as Kitty & Tony who renewed their vows at the ceremony), lets throw it back to Jackie & Jason's wedding day 2/14/2020!
It was an absolute honor to photograph my dear cousin, Jackie's wedding on Valentine's Day. It was truly a day to remember. Growing up with Jackie, my sister and I would spend weeks at Jackie's house with her and her brothers, getting into all sorts of trouble. And they would come stay at our house and we would all play the best pranks ever.
When Jackie first told me she about Jason, I had a good feeling about him, he treated her well and seemed like a pretty fun dude. And THEN, I met him. He's super personable, hilarious, likes spooky stuff, and treats her like a queen. I hung out with him and the conversation just flowed, he fits right in with our family.
Okay, before I start crying again, onto the photos!!
We photographed the rehearsal at the AMAZING Historic St Mary's Church in Albany, NY. This was fun because we have only photographed one other rehearsal before, and I love seeing the emotions and excitement that builds up in preparation for the wedding day.
How freaking beautiful is this church?!
Onto the wedding day!!
I love having Michael photographing the guys, so when the photos are all edited, and in the gallery, the couple gets to see each other's getting ready photos. Since Michael and I basically are inside each other's heads, we both got shots of the tattoos Jackie & Jason have.
Can we just take a minute to admire that mohawk?!
Uncle Tony seeing Jackie in her dress for the first time!
Jackie counting down to a reveal with a few of her ladies
Then we made our way to the magical Million Dollar Staircase inside the Albany State Capitol Building
Jackie's parents had a sweet vow renewal as it was their anniversary.
There were inflatable ring pops!
It was an amazing day. Thank you, Jackie & Jason for having us. We love you guys!!
